Join in support and raise awareness for Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with this special edition t-shirt, featuring artwork by Indigenous artist Shonta Campbell (Kishiqweb).

Shonta’s late grandfather, David Martin, was a residential school survivor. Using Indigenous coastal formline art, her Orange Shirt Day design tells the story of his escape in which he hiked and paddled for days in a canoe from Alert Bay to return to his home in Bella Bella. On the chest of the figure is an abalone copper shield pendant that symbolizes a new start, and underneath the canoe are the words, “Every Child Matters”. Completing the design are hands surrounding it to symbolize the community embracing the figure.

Wear this t-shirt proudly to show your support and recognize the resilience of Indigenous Peoples.
